The Opus series is designed for the home, studio and small churches and chapels, which is not to say that they are weak or under equipped. Opus models are regularly used with symphony orchestras. Built as compact as possible without making sacrifices, the Opus models take up a space about 4 feet by 4½ feet. They come with 70 watt amplifiers (except the Opus 1), solid oak cabinetry, internal speakers with outputs for externals and all the standard Johannus features.

Opus 1 – The "Mighty Mouse" of the Johannus line, the Opus 1 is designed for spaces where there just isn't room for pedals or a full-size organ. One manual with a split keyboard and 20 stops are the foundation for this instrument. The split keyboard allows the organist to play pedal stops, along with an accompaniment registration and a solo melody voice, all from the one manual. It has 7 generals, 70 watt amplifiers and 3 discrete output channels. Perfect as a continuo organ or for small ensembles, the Opus 1 puts out a sound so good that only the most educated ear would be able to tell that you're not listening to a dramatically more expensive instrument.

Opus 5 – The smallest and most affordable of the full-size instruments, the Opus 5 features 2 manuals, 19 stops, 64 generals, 4 toe studs, 2 tremulants, 3 couplers and 4 discrete output channels.

Opus 10 – The Opus 10 is the smallest Johannus organ to include fractionals and alternate scale tunings (Werkmeister 3 and Mean Tone). It has 2 manuals, 26 stops, 64 generals, 192 fractionals, 12 toe studs, 2 tremulants, 3 couplers and 4 discrete output channels.

Opus 20 – The Opus 20 is a slightly larger version of the Opus 10. It has all the same features, except it has 34 stops.

Opus 30 – The Opus 30 is the 3 manual version of the Opus line. It also has 38 stops, 128 generals, 256 fractionals, 15 toe studs, 3 tremulants, 6 couplers and 4 discrete output channels.
